Artfund Pavilion

This project uses FACIT’s pre-fabricated construction template as a starting point and treats the envelope as a filter and mediator between inside and outside, program and site. The project explores density, porosity and fragmentation through modularity and rhythm. The pavilion engages body and site through light, depth, texture, movement, and fragmented views.
FACIT’s practical and sustainable pre-fabrication and construction methods allow for efficient yet innovative modular assembly. The pavilion is meant to be transported and stored in parts, constructed in 72 hrs (or less), and disassembled in 24 hrs (or less).
